Booking a DJ in Malmö
Malmö is Sweden's most price-pressed big-city market for DJs, partly because being close to Copenhagen gives a larger supply than the population suggests. So the difference between a cheap and an expensive DJ is rarely about equipment; it is about how many evenings the person has actually played.

Season and planning ahead
The Malmö Festival in August is the week when almost everyone is booked. The summer weddings are concentrated on Österlen and in Skanör, which means travel time that should be priced separately. January to March is the quietest period in the country, and the cheapest time to book.

What does it cost to post a request?

Are the talents checked?
Yes. Every talent who takes payment through Talentsio has F-tax, checked before you pay. Every booking gets a contract that both parties approve on Talentsio. Your card is saved when you book and charged by the talent's terms, the rest the day after the evening, straight to the talent's own account through Stripe.
Can I book a DJ from Copenhagen?
Yes, but it affects both the VAT and the contract when the talent invoices from Denmark. For now Talentsio handles only talents registered in Sweden with F-tax, so a Danish DJ is booked outside the platform, and then without a contract, a guarantee or payment protection.
