Events in Västerås
Västerås lies on the northern shore of Lake Mälaren, with a harbour, a cathedral and an old quarter of narrow streets around Kyrkbacken. Evenings take place in restaurants and hotel venues in the centre, in conference spaces used by the city's industry, and in summer by the lake and on its islands. Companies hold kickoffs and Christmas parties here, and weddings often choose manor houses and venues in the countryside around the lake. If the venue is by the water or on an island, say so in your request so the talents can plan how they get there with their equipment.
Booking a host
A host leads the evening: introduces the speakers, keeps the timing, fills the gaps and gives the guests a reason to listen. At a wedding a toastmaster works with the couple and keeps the speeches on track; at a conference or a gala a moderator steers the programme and talks with the people on stage. Many hosts work in both Swedish and English. Say in your request what the programme looks like, which language the evening is in, and whether the host should also lead games, an auction or a prize giving.

Charged by the talent's terms
Your card is saved when you book. Before the evening you are charged only what the talent's cancellation terms keep, on the day each part starts to apply. The rest is charged the day after the evening.
If the talent doesn't come
Report it after the evening, and nothing more is charged. If the talent agrees, or doesn't answer within 48 hours, what was charged in advance is refunded. If the talent objects, what was charged in advance stays with them, and they may send you an invoice for the rest; it is never charged to your card. Talentsio is notified.

Frequently asked questions
What does a host cost in Västerås?
It depends on the hours, the date, the equipment and the kind of evening, and each talent sets their own price. Describe the evening for free and compare the offers.
How do I book a host in Västerås?
Post a request with the date, the place and what you want. Hosts who fit send an offer, up to five. You choose, and book in one checkout.
Is it free to ask?
Yes. Posting a request, receiving offers and comparing them is free. You pay only if you book, and the price on the offer is what you pay.
Are talents checked?
Every talent's profile is reviewed by us, and their identity and F-skatt are confirmed before a booking can be paid.
Is sound and lighting included?
Each talent says on their profile and in the offer what they bring. Say in your request what the venue has.
How does payment for the booking work?
You pay by card on Talentsio, and the price on the offer is what you pay: nothing is added. Your card is saved when you book. When the talent's cancellation terms keep part of the price, that part is charged on the day it starts to apply, which can be at booking. The rest is reserved on your card 72 hours before the evening starts and charged the day after the evening, straight to the talent's own Stripe account.
