1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Talentsio you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Talentsio.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Talentsio. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where this requirement is not met.

3. What Talentsio is

Talentsio is a two-sided marketplace that connects event organisers with talent professionals. We provide the technology and infrastructure that enables organisers to post booking requests and talent to respond with offers. We are not a talent agency, an employer, or a party to any booking agreement made through the platform. We do not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for the performance, conduct, or suitability of any talent listed on the platform, nor for the accuracy or fulfilment of any booking request submitted by an organiser.

4. Account registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@talentsio.com if you believe your account has been compromised. Talentsio reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where inaccurate information is provided or these terms are violated.

5. Talent profiles and verification

Talent accounts must complete a profile to at least 50% completion before their profile is submitted for review. Talentsio manually reviews talent profiles before approving them for the marketplace. "Verified" means our team has reviewed the profile for professional credibility, not that we have conducted a background check, confirmed qualifications, or guaranteed performance quality. Organisers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before confirming a booking. Talent are solely responsible for ensuring their profile content is accurate, current, and does not infringe any third-party rights.

6. Booking requests

Organisers may post booking requests free of charge. By posting a request, you confirm that the event details are accurate and that you are authorised to enter into a booking for that event. Talentsio reserves the right to remove requests that are fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or otherwise in violation of these terms. Booking requests are not contracts. A binding booking agreement is only formed when an organiser explicitly accepts a talent offer and both parties have confirmed the terms directly.

7. Credits and unlocking leads

8. Offers and negotiations

Once a talent unlocks a booking request, they may send the organiser a priced offer. Offers include a subtotal, VAT rate, validity period, and personal pitch. Organisers may accept, decline, or counter-offer. Talentsio does not participate in price negotiations and has no role in determining the final booking price. An accepted offer is an agreement between the organiser and the talent only.

9. Payments and financial arrangements

Talentsio does not process payments between organisers and talent. Payment for bookings is arranged directly between the organiser and the talent outside the platform. Talentsio only processes payments for credit purchases. Talent are solely responsible for their own invoicing, tax obligations (including F-skatt or employer tax declarations as applicable under Swedish law), and compliance with applicable financial regulations. Talentsio does not act as a payment intermediary, employer, or principal in relation to any booking.

10. Lead disputes and refunds

If a talent believes a booking request they unlocked was fraudulent, cancelled by the organiser without cause, duplicated, or otherwise invalid, they may submit a lead dispute through the platform within 14 days of unlocking. Talentsio will review the dispute and, at our sole discretion, may issue a credit refund. We aim to respond to all disputes within 5 business days. Refunds are issued as platform credits only, not cash.

11. Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellation and refund terms for confirmed bookings are agreed directly between the organiser and the talent and are not governed by Talentsio. We strongly recommend that both parties agree cancellation terms in writing before confirming a booking. Talentsio is not liable for losses resulting from cancellations, no-shows, or failure to perform by either party.

12. User responsibilities and prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile, booking request, or offer.
  • Contact other users outside the platform to circumvent the credit system.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Use the platform to advertise services unrelated to talent bookings.
  • Attempt to access, scrape, or copy platform data without authorisation.
  • Impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, termination, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

13. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you upload to Talentsio, including your profile bio, photos, and media links. By uploading content, you grant Talentsio a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and use your content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Talentsio platform. You confirm that you have the right to upload all content you provide and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights. All platform code, design, trademarks, and proprietary content are owned by Talentsio. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Talentsio is not liable for:

  • Loss or damage arising from a booking, cancellation, or no-show.
  • Conduct, performance, or representations of any organiser or talent.
  • Temporary unavailability of the platform.
  • Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to Talentsio in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Talentsio harmless from any claims, damages, costs, or losses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

16. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile is removed from public view and personal data is anonymised within 30 days, subject to our data retention obligations. Talentsio may terminate or suspend your account at any time with or without notice if you violate these terms. Credits remaining at termination due to your own violation are forfeited. Credits remaining at termination initiated by Talentsio without cause may be refunded at our discretion.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or platform notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The current version of these terms is always available at talentsio.com/terms.

18. Governing law and dispute resolution

20. Invoicing tool and self-billing

Gäller från och med: 2026-08-04

These clauses govern the Bokio-style invoicing tool available to verified Talents.

20.1 Talent as seller of record

The Talent (or agency acting on their behalf) is at all times the sole seller of the artistic performance and the sole party liable for Swedish VAT, F-skatt reporting, and any other taxes arising from the engagement. Talentsio is not a party to any invoice issued through the platform for the Talent's services and does not assume any tax liability on the Talent's behalf. The Talent is solely responsible for the accuracy of the tax treatment on each invoice (VAT rate, exemption reason, F-skatt statement).

20.2 Nature of the invoicing tool

Talentsio provides a software tool that lets the Talent draft, issue, and archive invoices in the Talent's own name. Talentsio does not issue invoices in its own name for the Talent's services, does not warrant the tax outcome of any invoice, and is not the seller vis-à-vis the buyer. The buyer's counterparty for the invoiced service is always the Talent.

20.3 Self-billing mandate (VAT Directive Art. 226.10a)

The mandate is exercised per invoice: an invoice will never be dispatched to the buyer before the Talent has explicitly approved it inside the platform ("Approve & Send"). Approval is logged with the Talent's user ID and a UTC timestamp and stored as an immutable record of consent. The Talent may revoke the mandate at any time by written notice, effective from the next draft not yet approved.

20.4 Numbering series and archiving

The invoicing tool operates one consecutive, gap-free numbering series per Talent. The Talent may set the starting number (e.g. when migrating from another accounting system), but only until the first invoice is sent. From that point the series is locked and every subsequent number is the previous number plus one. Talentsio guarantees numeric integrity at the platform level; the Talent remains responsible for numeric integrity across any parallel series outside Talentsio.

The Talent is responsible for archiving each issued invoice for seven (7) years per Chapter 7 §1-2 of the Swedish Accounting Act (1999:1078). Talentsio stores the rendered HTML and PDF for the same period as a convenience — this does not replace the Talent's own archiving obligation.

20.5 Corrections

Once dispatched, an invoice is immutable. Any correction is issued as a separate credit note that references the original invoice number. The credit note consumes the next number in the same series.
